Wimbledon Tickets Explained
When it comes to choosing the right ticket to suit your Wimbledon needs, it can be quite confusing, so to help you decide what’s best for you, we have put together a guide to the different types of ticket available and the fantastic hospitality packages we offer at The Championships, Wimbledon 2011.
Each year, Wimbledon attracts a worldwide audience of hundreds of millions but only a tiny percentage are privileged enough to sample the magic and excitement of the most prestigious grand slam tennis championships first-hand. This is because tickets for the event are extremely popular and sell out quickly.
We have a set allocation of tickets specifically for the overseas market, catering to the foreign traveller with tours including top London hotels, souvenir bags and lunches.
For the UK market, again we have a specific allocation of tickets and packages.
The Public Ballot
The majority of Centre, No.1 and No.2 Court tickets are sold in advance via a public ballot. The date for the public ballot for 2011 is still be be advised.
